On the Pays d’Aix wine trail
Here, vines are part of the Provencal landscape and art of living. Since Roman times, the sun-drenched hillsides have given birth to wines with subtle aromas, shaped by the sea, wind and stone. Around the campsite, discover three prestigious appellations – Côtes de Provence Sainte-Victoire, Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence and Palette – and be charmed by the beauty of the vineyards, nestled between olive groves, bastides and lavender fields.
At the foot of Sainte-Victoire, the estates open their doors to share their passion. Domaine des Masques, in Saint-Antonin-sur-Bayon, is close to the Maison de la Sainte-Victoire and offers an immersion in the local vineyards. In Puyloubier, Domaine de Saint-Ser invites you to stroll through its garden of grape varieties before following the path to the hermitage perched in the cliffs. Further south, Château de la Galinière in Châteauneuf-le-Rouge offers wine walks and workshops. For an even more complete experience, the Sentier des Vignerons du Mont Sainte-Victoire (Mont Sainte-Victoire Winegrowers’ Trail) offers 13 kilometers of winegrowing landscapes, combining nature, heritage and the pleasure of the senses.
